After years in Hollywood working on big-budget studio features like Superbad and Syriana, Tora returned to San Francisco to devote more time to writing.

Before that she worked in development and events production for the San Francisco, Mill Valley and Sundance Film Festivals. She majored in Comparative Literature and minored in Film at Smith College and UC Berkeley.

She is currently focused on short form writing and filmmaking, and is based in San Francisco.
