Flying through the air

A man of happenstance

Has dreamed so long

Of this roaring day

That not even the jolt

Of landing on his ass

Can stop the smile

From conquering his face

 

That glorious bull

Of leather and metal

Still grunts and kicks

Furiously unmanned

But the happy jock

Will have a story

So proud and fierce

To tell come Monday
